According to international automotive safety standards (such as ECE R16 and FMVSS 208), all passenger vehicles must be equipped with three-point seat belts, and their performance must be verified through dynamic crash testing. In the aviation sector, three-point seat belts are used in economy class seats and must meet the FAR 25.785 standard, capable of withstanding a 16G impact force. In industrial settings, such as aerial work platforms or forklifts, three-point seat belts must be used in conjunction with fall arresters, complying with the OSHA 1926.502 standard.
