How to Fasten a Car Seatbelt
1. Press the adjustment switch on the B-pillar to adjust the seatbelt to a suitable height for the driver and passengers.
2. Pull the seatbelt so that the shoulder strap crosses the chest and the lap belt fits snugly against the hip bones. Then insert the seatbelt plug into the slot.
3. Check that the seatbelt plug is securely fastened. If it is secure and not loose, the car seatbelt is worn correctly. Car seatbelts are safety devices used in automobiles, primarily made of nylon or polyester. In the event of emergency braking, the seatbelt restrains the occupants to their seats, preventing secondary injuries.
